God Lord

The epistle of Paul to the Romans avowed that “For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” Romans 8:29. In the beginning, God designed each person to become like his Son Jesus Christ.
Therefore, you can say that the powerful living God created each human being in the likeness of him. This is how powerful God is and he created Earth for people to dwell in as mankind is the greatest form of God’s love next to his son.

God Lord asks his people to become part of the mirror image of him and this is evidently been given in the presence of his Son Jesus. If you will come to ask, what is the image of God? The answer: it is Jesus Christ! Therefore, you are called to live like Jesus lived. You are called to fulfill your purpose, your very reason why you are here in this world. God has a purpose for everything and you are part of the purpose.

How will you discern what God is asking of you? You will determine this when you allow yourself to grow in Christ. ‘God wants us to grow up like Christ in everything”. Ephesians 4:15. A lot of believers in this world have never outgrown being children. As they grow old, it is only their age that is numbered however; spiritual maturity still remains on booties and infancy in spirituality keep on. Allowing yourself to grow necessitates your entire commitment. God does not want partial service and devotion; he wants everything, all that you are and all that you have for his glory.

As discipleship reigns in your urgent longing to follow Christ, defeating temptation is one of the things that you need to conquer. The Lord asked his people to let go of youthful lust rather lead a righteous path that will free you from the snares of the dark. It is indeed difficult to follow the track of God for temptations will always get in the way. As Satan is just around the corner waiting to deceive people, it is crucial that in order to avoid temptations one must fully follow and surrender his life to God without further questions.

As you put your faith in him as 1 Corinthians 10:13 stated, “God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. As you battle against all the temptation in your life to give glory to God Lord, the Bible says he will not give you anything you cannot handle including temptations you cannot resist. You might bump into some as you go along with life but if you put your faith in him, he will show you a way out. That is how faithful the Lord is, he never ceases to love and will continue to love and be with you until your dying day, until you rest in him in heaven.
